Compassionate Care Animal Hospital announces its 2019 Sunday Event Series and Pet Training! We are expanding our hospital services to provide enhanced training and behavior education for you and your pets.
Every team member at CCAH is Fear Free Certified, and we embrace the scientifically proven methods of positive reinforcement pet interactions. If you have questions and would like to learn more about positive reinforcement methods versus dominance methods – make sure you check out next week’s blog!
Most pet owners who have experienced the Fear Free methods at CCAH agree there is a noticeable difference in the veterinary experience and their pet’s overall well-being. We want to help owners learn positive reinforcement methods for the home as well – from loose leash walking to surviving fireworks and holiday parties.
Families with fearful pets are sometimes nervous to seek help or attempt a vet visit because of previous judgement by professionals, or pet handling that worsens the pet’s anxiety and stress.
We are on a mission to change this experience and are here to help!
Our Sunday Event Series includes:
Dog training for all ages from puppies through adults
A trick class for those looking to add to their dog’s repertoire
Individual, one-time classes that address specific needs such as:
If your pet is not ready for this work and needs more personalized attention, we also provide independent in-clinic consultation and training appointments. Contact CCAH and ask for Cassie to discuss your pet’s specific training and educational needs.
