During the week of October 14-20, 2018 the veterinary world will be honoring our amazing veterinary technicians. National Veterinary Technician Week was created in 1993 and is celebrated during the third week of October every year.

Veterinary technicians work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks, from lifting and bending, to carefully and lovingly handling each animal. They guide and comfort clients through medical issues, triage, stabilize patients, and are vigilant about patient care. They administer and monitor complex medical procedures and protocols from blood transfusions to anesthetic monitoring.

Veterinary Technicians are skilled, knowledgeable and continue to learn throughout their careers. They pour their hearts and souls into every patient.

Please take a moment this week to say thank you to the veterinary technicians who help your pets. They deserve and need to know how much they are appreciated.

Call to tell your favorite Vet Tech thanks!
